Małgorzata Wiktorko suggests a Proustian walk „In Search of Lost Time” The reading of the masterpiece devoted to tome will be complemented by John Cage’s famous „4:33”, a piece that makes the passage of time its theme. Time is also the subject of the works of art in the 20th and 21st century Art Collection. Roman Opałka fills time with his own self; consistently since 1965 he has been recording his own passing existence. Body casts created by Alina Szapocznikow resemble Egyptian mummies – they fix the image of a transient body. Tadeusz Kantor remembers his mother and like a „Man with Suitcases” in „The Dead Class” wanders the past (tense) much like Mirosław Bałka who commemorates his own Holy Communion...
