Since September 1st the main building of Muzeum Sztuki has been closed to visitors. The reason is intensive preparation for the opening of ms² in November 2008 and for the re-opening of the building in Wieckowskiego Street in February 2009.
The ceremony of opening ms² - a new department/space?/on the grounds of Manufaktura is scheduled to last three days: from 20th to 22nd November. At the same time there has been renovation work going on in the main building of Muzeum since September 9th. This will result in creating a new space open to visitors and adjusted to the needs of the disabled. The new design will clearly distinguish individual parts of the building, there will be a cafѐ club and a bookshop, too. The new visual policy of Muzeum is going to be reflected by the exterior of the building due to the carried out projects of converting the entrance and decor of the facade.
